Conceptual Model Design of PN-MMS for Large Petrochemical Enterprises

 Based on the development trend of domestic intelligent pipeline construction and the existing pain points and difficulties in the improvement of system pipe network management in a large petrochemical enterprise, the design background of PN-MMS conceptual model is described. The distributed network topology and "Ethernet+CAN bus" composite technology are used, the service-oriented architecture concept and application integration technology are introduced to build basic development and data center functional framework, the data acquisition site layout principle is clarified, the system workflow and data acquisition and processing standard are formulated, and the mathematical model and logic algorithm of pipeline leakage are given. At the same time, the system pipeline survey and data cleaning are carried out based on business management and decision requirements, the database core assets are established, the system pipeline monitoring information system is built with application and problem solving as the value orientation, the traditional model based on experience is fundamentally changed, and a more safe, reliable, intelligent and efficient new model is explored. It has strong practicability in improving management system ability, promoting fine management and establishing systematic thinking.

Influence of Safety Factor on General Layout in Petrochemical Industry Design

With the rapid rise of China's industry, the petrochemical industry has gradually developed into one of the pillar industries of national economy. Since petrochemical plant has characteristics such as flammability and explosiveness, much attention should be paid to the influence of safety factors on its general layout, with positive and reasonable layout to ensure the safety of production and the staff. Along with the continuous updating of relevant standards, the requirements for safety, fire prevention and environmental protection of newly built or expanded plant areas are becoming increasingly strict. In this article, the influence of safety factors on general layout in the construction of new and old petrochemical plants is analyzed while fully considering the human safety factor. On the premise of meeting the current laws and regulations and saving investment and land, the general layout with short process flow, small floor space, irregular shape of land occupation but relatively complete production facilities, auxiliary production facilities and management facilities is explored.

Discussion on Design of Office Buildings in Petrochemical Projects

 In this paper, a research is made into the architectural design of office buildings in petrochemical plants. By sorting out and summarizing the architectural design of two office buildings that have been built in petrochemical plants in China, the layout and sectional elevation design are analyzed, and the optimization plan of architectural design are proposed. In addition, the cases of three office buildings in foreign industrial parks are introduced to analyze the architectural design plans and the application of new materials and new technologies, providing guidance and reference for related design in the future.

 In this paper, the problems in the calculation method for anchor bolt circle diameter of non-standard leg support with angle strut in the existing references are pointed out, and the calculation formula for exact solution is obtained by precise geometric derivation. Through the control variable method, it shows that there is a slight difference between the result of calculation formula for exact solution and that of simplified empirical formula in standards and specifications. The calculation formula for exact solution can greatly facilitate the design of non-standard leg support with angle strut.

With the increasingly widespread application of low-temperature pressure vessels in petrochemical projects, pressure vessel engineers must select low-temperature steel that can ensure both the safety and economic reasonableness of pressure vessels according to the design factors for low-temperature pressure vessels such as design conditions, operating temperature and corrosion performance of media. This paper mainly analyzes and compares the material selection for low-temperature pressure vessels from the aspects of chemical composition and mechanical properties, and presents some application examples in engineering design, so as to help the engineers understand the material selection for low-temperature pressure vessels.

In the chemical production industry, the improper selection of gasket will not only cause the leakage at flange connections, but also affect the economic cost of supporting flanges and blots. In engineering calculation examples, there are a number of gaskets available for the same working conditions. First of all, reasonable selection should be made according to media characteristics, pressure, temperature and other working conditions, and then actual calculation should be performed according to gasket size, gasket factor and specific pressure prior to the final optimization selection, so as to avoid the cost waste caused by the excessive selection of gasket material and the unreasonable size of matching fasteners.

Cause Analysis and Countermeasures for Leakage of Reaction Product Air Cooler in CCR Unit

According to the leakage of reaction product air cooler in the 1.8 Mt/a continuous catalytic reforming unit of a company after the overhaul, the process flow of reforming reaction system and the operating parameters of air cooler are introduced. The overhaul methods for air cooler tube bundle and the various schemes tried in leakage treatment are described. Without inlet and outlet valves, on-line replacement of air cooler tube bundle is realized. Through the macro inspection of leakage points and the analysis of process media and scale inside tube bundle, it is concluded that the deposition of ammonium chloride during daily operation and the humid environment during overhaul and start-up and shutdown cause the under-deposit corrosion, which eventually leads to the perforation and leakage of tube bundle. Some countermeasures are put forward such as strengthening the monitoring of corrosive elements in raw materials, increasing leakage monitoring and alarm means, optimizing the shutdown and start-up steps, reducing the water content in the system, and enriching the detection, inspection and identification methods for tube bundles, which provide reference for the long-term operation of air cooler tube bundles.

Engineering Example of Hot Water Lithium Bromide Refrigeration Station in a Petrochemical Enterprise

There is a considerable amount of low-temperature waste heat in petrochemical plants. Lithium bromide absorption refrigeration is an effective form of waste heat recovery. This paper introduces the principle and characteristics of lithium bromide absorption refrigeration, and takes a coal chemical project as an example to discuss the engineering situation, design scheme, design flow, main equipment and parameters, automatic control scheme, design points and economic analysis. The study shows that lithium bromide absorption refrigeration can effectively recycle the low-temperature waste heat in the plant, greatly improving the efficiency of energy utilization. Meanwhile, the recovery cycle is short and the enterprise cost is reduced.

Affected by upstream crude oil processing plan, the butene content of the C4 raw material to the 30 kt/a methyl ethyl ketone plant of a company was relatively low. In order to increase the butene content of the C4 raw material, the application of isobutane extraction technology in methyl ethyl ketone plant was proposed for the first time. In the process, an isobutane rectification system was built at the front end of the enrichment section. After the isobutane extraction technology was applied to the methyl ethyl ketone plant, the butene content of the C4 raw material reached the design target, the butene quality in the enrichment section was significantly improved, and isobutane products with a purity of ≥ 98.3% were added, ensuring the safe and stable production of the methyl ethyl ketone plant.

The software is mainly composed of three modules, i.e., component physical property analysis of compressed gas, common unit conversion and compressor selection calculation. It has clear process, friendly interface, strong practicability and high reliability.

This design uses the structured system development method, and analyzes in detail the problems faced by document encoding management in petrochemical engineering projects, the application requirements and the system functions. Based on the results of system analysis, a system logic model is put forward. The design of document encoding structure and rules, database design, interface design and system implementation are completed. The final results of this design is to establish a set of standardized document encoding structure and rules for petrochemical engineering projects, which can be used in the document management of conventional petrochemical engineering projects. The corresponding document encoding management information systems are developed, achieving automated document encoding.
