Petrochemical Design mainly covers the scientific research achievements in petrochemical engineering design, engineering construction management and installation, piping and heating ventilation, production process control, mechanical equipment and materials, as well as the exchange of production technology and management experience of petrochemical units and the development trend of petrochemical industry at home and abroad. Also new technologies, new products and new equipment are introduced to promote the development of China's petrochemical industry.

Petrochemical Design is directed to China’s three major oil companies including SINOPEC, PetroChina and CNOOC as well as the petrochemical companies, chemical plants, design institutes, research institutes, universities and colleges and information centers nationwide and the national library, with a domestic circulation of about 5,000 copies.

Petrochemical Design is published quarterly on the 25th of February, May, August and November. Advertising from enterprises at home and abroad are welcomed.
