Piping Design of Atmospheric Column in Slurry Bed Residue Hydrocracking Unit

Abstract:

This paper introduces the characteristics of slurry bed residue hydrocracking process. Taking the process flow of product recovery unit and atmospheric column as the research background, this paper discusses the nozzle orientation of atmospheric column and the arrangement of downcomers, and introduces the piping layout optimization of atmospheric column, so as to meet the process conditions, piping requirements and stress calculation. The matters that need attention in the layout and design of tower ladders and platforms are introduced.
