Abstract: The terminal oil and gas processing capacity of the CTEP in an oil field in the Middle East was improved by optimizing the crude oil processing process and equipment. The stability of gas phase was enhanced by optimizing the internal design of slug catcher, the equipment setting was optimized by optimizing the gas compression process, and the equipment selection was optimized and the investment was saved by optimizing the Phase I and Phase II gas materials. By optimizing the overall process flow and simplifying the gas compression process, the goals of steady production, investment saving and operating cost reduction were achieved, the energy was saved and the efficiency was enhanced
