Abstract: Due to the particularity of medium and equipment, there are some unique requirements and precautions for the equipment layout and piping layout of polymerization unit in gas-phase polyethylene plant. Based on engineering practice, this paper discusses and summarizes the precautions for the layout design of circulating gas system, PDS system and catalyst system in the polymerization unit of gas-phase polyethylene plant.
