Abstract:

Taking several international EPC projects as examples, this paper introduces the definition, organization and implementation, basic procedures, stage division and other concepts of the constructability study in project quotation and execution stages. At the same time, the different applications of constructability study in domestic projects and overseas projects are compared and analyzed, the guidance and practical significance of constructability study for the quality, safety, schedule and cost control of EPC projects are put forward, the shortcomings of domestic engineering companies in this aspect are pointed out, and some improvement countermeasures are put forward.
