Abstract:

 In this article, the equipment layout and pipingdesign of CO? removalunitin ethylene oxide/ethylene glycol (EO/EG) plant are studied. Based on the analysis of process flow and operation requirements,the optimalequipment layout and piping design ofCO? removal towersystemare discussed in accordance with relevant standards, and thecharacteristicsand matters needing attention in thepiping design of CO?removal unit inEO/EG plantareanalyzed,providingtechnical support for the efficient and stable operation of theplant.
