Abstract: According to the C4 raw material composition of a petrochemical plant, a new process route for producing high-purity isobutane was designed. Through process simulation software, the hydrogenation reaction unit and the separation unit for removing light components were optimized, and the optimal operating parameters of each unit were determined. This optimization not only saved equipment investment, but also reduced energy consumption, providing guidance for the rational utilization of C4 fractions.
