Abstract: The influence of process conditions of the washing unit in oxidative dehydrogenation of butylene to butadiene on the removal effect of organic compounds such as acid, alcohol, aldehyde and ketone was studied through process simulation with PRO-II software. The results indicated that the oxygen-containing organic compounds in effluent gas from the oxidative dehydrogenation reactor can be effectively removed, the acid, alcohol and ketone can be totally removed and the concentration of acetaldehyde and acrylaldehyde in the gas stream was less than 10 ppm(v) when the water temperature is below 20℃ and the mass ratio of water to feed gas is 0.5~0.6 in the cooling column, and the operating pressure is 0.6~0.8 MPag, the overhead temperature is 10~20℃ and the mass ratio of water to feed gas is 0.7~1.0 in the aldehyde removing column
