Abstract:

The internal environment of high-temperature petrochemical pipelines is complex and ever-changing, and some of the pipelines face high pressure and corrosion resistance requirements. Materials are facing new challenges and need to find new ways out. This article compares the mechanical properties and other technical indicators of various materials used for steam pipelines in power plant boilers (chromium molybdenum steel, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel) with those of high-temperature petrochemical pipelines, and briefly analyzes the reasons for the differences in their technical indicators. In addition, by analyzing the research and development process and ideas of steam pipeline materials for ultra-supercritical power plants, combined with the special service environment of high-temperature petrochemical pipeline materials, this paper explores the potential for adapting moderately developed power plant materials for application in the petrochemical industry.
