Abstract:

The 3.5MPa steam line safety valve was disassembled for inspection during the maintenance of a hydrogen production unit of a petrochemical company, and cracks were found in the surfacing layer on the sealing surface of the valve disc. It was found through analysis that the main causes of the leakage of main steam safety valve include the prolonged erosion by high-temperature and high-pressure steam and the improper heat treatment during surfacing welding. To solve these problems, methods such as ensuring the quality of safety valve component materials, reasonably optimizing structural design, and paying attention to precautions during safety valve maintenance have been explored, providing reference for the analysis and treatment of similar defects in other steam safety valves.
