Problems found during Project Return Visit and the Solutions

Abstract:  Petrochemical units are featured by complex processes from design to construction and to production, and excellent design is an important guarantee. The project management team organizes and coordinates the overall project operation and skillfully connects the design party and the construction party. The project manager from the design party should be familiar with the technical characteristics of each discipline, have a certain ability to foresee, and inform the owner or organize technical exchanges in a timely manner during project implementation. Project managers pay special attention to risk avoidance and ensure that the design meet relevant codes and standards. Design return visit aims not only to review the design level, the accuracy of the scheme and the process to transform theory into practical operation for producing on-spec products, but also to achieve design improvement. The feedback from users also “represents” the professional level and overall planning rigor of project managers.
