Abstract: To explore the feasibility of using hydrogen as the fuel for heating furnaces, this article takes a heating furnace in a domestic refinery as an example, studies the heat transfer efficiency of hydrogen fuel through theoretical calculations and FRNC5 engineering software, and compares and analyzes the parameters of hydrogen fuel heating furnaces with those of conventional fuel heating furnaces. Finally, research conclusions are drawn on the heat transfer efficiency, fuel consumption, carbon reduction and oxygen rich combustion of hydrogen fuel, providing reference for subsequent engineering practices.

Key words:  , heating furnace, hydrogen fuel, carbon dioxide emissions, oxygen rich combustion
