Abstract: This paper introduces the basic structure of fixed bed C₅ diolefin hydrogenation reactor and the problems that a large number of internals cannot be installed during the installation of the equipment, analyzes in detail the problems in the installation of catalyst redistribution disk, main beam of hydrogen cold box and cold hydrogen injection disk, outlet collector and external insulation support ring of reactor, and puts forward some targeted solutions. After analyzing the causes of the problems, surveying and mapping the dimensions and taking targeted measures, the installation of reactor internals is successfully completed, and some control measures are proposed for the future installation of similar equipment internals from the aspects of equipment design, drawing review by engineers and pre assembly prior to installation, so as to solve the problems before actual installation.
