Study on Arrangement and Piping of Multi-effect Evaporation Tower in Ethylene Glycol Unit

摘要:

首先介绍了乙二醇在工业中的用途及制备方法,然后说明了环氧乙烷水合法制备EG(乙二醇)装置中多效蒸发系统的工艺流程,并分析了设备布置方案。根据泵的最小汽蚀余量得出最后真空效再沸器凝液罐的安装高度,结合凝液罐间工艺安装高度的要求,从而推算出前面几效凝液罐的安装高度,之后进一步计算得出再沸器和多效塔的最小安装高度。由此实现在满足工艺条件和配管要求的同时,最大限度地降低多效塔裙座和设备框架的结构高度,以此优化乙二醇装置中多效蒸发系统的设计。

Abstract:

This paper introduces the application and preparation method of ethylene glycol (EG) in industry, discusses the process flow of multi-effect evaporation system in EG plant by EO hydration, and analyzes its equipment layout. According to the minimum NPSH of the pump, the installation height of the final vacuum effect reboiler condensate tank is obtained. In combination with the requirements of the process installation height between the condensate tanks, the installation height of the previous several effect condensate tanks is calculated, and then the minimum installation height of the reboiler and the multi-effect tower is further calculated. Thus, the structure height of multi-effect tower skirt and equipment frame can be reduced as much as possible while meeting the process conditions and piping requirements, so as to optimize the design of multi-effect evaporation system in EG plant.
