Abstract: With the proposal for the Belt and Road initiative, overseas project will occupy an increasingly large proportion of future petrochemical projects. The field service of overseas project is an important part of the overseas EPC project. The capability to provide precise, efficient and attentive field service can not only speed up the progress of EPC project, reduce additional project expenditures and achieve higher project profits, but also intuitively reflect the project management capability of engineering companies. Taking the field service of piping discipline in an overseas polypropylene project as an example, this paper briefly introduces the general situation of the plant, the content of field service, the problems encountered and the solutions
